The unprecedented all teams livery launch event is here and we’re preparing to see the designs that will be raced by every team on the grid presented live at the O2 arena.

What to expect from the event

The event will begin at 20:00 UTC and will be livestreamed across Formula 1’s social media channels, including YouTube, and on all major F1 broadcasters globally.

The show will run for two hours and will feature every team on the grid – all 10 team principals and 20 drivers – hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall and F1 presenters Laura Winter, Lawrence Barretto and Ariana Bravo.

Each team will have a slot to unveil their livery as they see fit, be that with a show car or through a video, and between these slots will be music and entertainment from artists and groups like Take That.

You can also expect exclusive interviews, and red carpet arrivals by the drivers, team principals and celebrities. The show has been brought together by BrianBurkeCreative and the team behind the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix opening and closing ceremonies in 2023.

Will we see real cars?

The short answer is no, teams aren’t required to bring their actual 2025 challengers to the event. With the pre-season phase being so compact this year, it’s expected that they will be working on final finishing touches before pre-season testing begins on February 26th.

That said, we have already seen three teams shakedown their 2025 cars at Silverstone with McLaren going first on February 13th, Williams the following day, and Haas on the 16th.

As these were before today’s livery launch event, these teams had to run test liveries specifically for the occasion.

It won’t be long before we see our next real cars though as both Ferrari and Racing Bulls are scheduled to run launch events or shakedowns tomorrow (February 19th), with Aston Martin unveiling the AMR25 on February 23rd, Mercedes revealing the W16 on the 24th, and Red Bull shaking down the RB21 on the 25th.

Live Coverage

We’ll be updating here as the launch happens, with the details of each livery as we see it!

Comes to a close…

The F1-75 live event comes to a close with all 10 cars and 20 drivers on stage together, forming the first grid of the year.

Time for the reigning champions!

McLaren take to the stage with a lineup of their historic championship winning cars ahead of the launch of their newest MCL39.

Of course we saw the real car take to the track last week which Andrea Stella said is “innovative” technically but a continuation of their design of last year in livery terms.

And he’s not wrong, aside from sponsor changes such as Mastercard on the front wing and Allwyn near the halo the car looks to be identical to the MCL38’s design.

Same but different for Ferrari

It’s a special launch for Ferrari as Lewis Hamilton makes his debut in red in front of an audience, but the livery is a classic look with a heritage feel as they add a hint of white to the engine cover.

Charles Leclerc sees the car for the first time tonight, saying his word for the season could be “fulfilment” of his childhood dream of becoming world champion but instead opts for the “honour” of racing for the Scuderia.

Lewis Hamilton says he feels full of life and “invigorated” with a focus on what’s ahead for him this year.

It’s a clear departure from the look of last season’s car, moving to be all white with a bull pattern design to the rear and Red Bull’s logo on the nose and engine cover – echoing what is usually seen on the Red Bull Racing car.

It’s sure to grab some attention on track and also given this clear alignment with their top team…

Williams reveal all blue design

Williams are next up and have unveiled their 2025 design, in what James Vowles says is an “all new era for the team” before introducing his drivers himself!

The team launched the actual car last week with a shakedown around Silverstone, but with a camo livery, so now we get our first look at the real thing which is all blue, with a gradient getting lighter to the rear.

Carlos Sainz says he “can’t wait” to get back behind the wheel next week and get stuck into the season.
