Red Bull provide both drivers with upgraded wing
Red Bull have introduced a new front wing for Verstappen’s home race weekend, which will be run by both cars over the weekend and was being compared to the older specification during FP1.

It features significantly longer chord front wing flaps which the team say are to meet the “expected demands of the Zandvoort circuit” and “increase the load available via angle”. They are significantly longer than those on the front wing run last time out in Budapest and reportedly is a development of the wing Verstappen used in Spa.

With both drivers having immediate access to the updated part, it marks perhaps the first time that has been the case all season.
New rear brake duct at Alpine
Alpine have introduced updated “rear brake duct furniture” for this weekend which they say includes a set of reprofiled winglets to improve the rear wheel wake management.
Sauber follow suit with new rear brake duct
Kick Sauber have a similar update to Alpine with changes to their rear brake duct vane. This will affect the flow field around the rear of the car, according to the team’s submission to the FIA, local to the diffuser and the rear wheels.
New power unit components
Five drivers have fitted new power unit components for this event. Both Haas cars and both Saubers have new energy stores; one of the two new ones allowed over the season for each car. Max Verstappen also has a new exhaust system, his sixth of the season out of the eight allowed in the regulations.
